Service Hours
Parents can now submit their service hours directly through Gradelink!
When entering your hours, please include details about the type of volunteer work you completed and the total number of hours. Once submitted, Mr. Kim will review and approve the entries.
If you're volunteering on campus, please remember to sign in and out at the front office.
** All on-campus volunteers must be fingerprinted through the Archdiocese or have completed VIRTUS training to be eligible to help.**
Virtus and Fingerprinting
Virtus is the Archdiocesan Safety Program for adults to work with children. All volunteers are required to complete Virtus Training and Fingerprinting. Fingerprinting is required only once, Virtus certification needs to be renewed every 4 years. All adults over the age of 18 are required to fulfill Virtus and Fingerprinting to volunteer in the classroom, attend field trips, or participate directly in school activities.

- St. James School is part of the Los Angeles Archdiocese - San Pedro Region, training can be completed at any parish, not just St. James. If you don't live near St. James, just look for a parish near you. More information is provided on the Archdiocesan Website.
