CJSF

The California Junior Scholarship Federation is a statewide organization founded for the purpose of fostering high standards of scholarship, service and citizenship in the junior high school grades. Membership is availabe to 7th and 8th grade students who meet the grade point and citizenship requirements. Students must earn a minimum of 12 points based upon their report card marks in religion, math, reading (literature), English, social studies, and science. Each A earns 3 points and each B earns 1 point. Students may not have any D, F or any grade lower than a B on the report card. Students may earn 1 point for a Christian Service commitment such as Altar Serving or Student Council.
