SJS Summer Camp
July 5th - July 30th

Open to all grade school students

Students entering grades K-6th
Camp cost $225/week per student and includes all materials/supplies
Save $25 when you sign up for 4 weeks!
Each week delivers different themed activities to enjoy
Choose a few weeks or a whole month of creativity and fun!
All summer camp weeks are hands-on activities, in-person instruction and minimal use of electronics.

Week 1 July 5-9 Blast Off Into Summer
This first week at camp is all about space! Campers will learn about different planets and make our own telescopes. We will make slime and create mooncatchers. Campers will compete against each other in games about planets. Friday of this week is all about rockets! We will use Mentos and Coca Cola to make a rocket explosion.
Week 2 July 12- 16 Around The World
Let's travel around the world this week! Campers will get to visit Europe and make pasta towers, to Asia and Africa where will make Chinese dragon puppets and DIY African drums! We will take a look at North and South America creating totem poles and and rain sticks. On Friday this week, we will travel 'down under' to Australia where with our own homemade boomerangs.
Week 3 July 12-16 Summer Scientists
This week campers will find their inner scientist! We will build robots using recycled items and learn geometry through bubbles. Campers will go on an investigation to find items and use their senses to discover what it is. We will make oobleck and create our own lava lamps to take home on Friday.
Week 4 July 26-30 Fun In The SUN
This week campers will create anything SUNNY! Campers will make fun SUNcatchers, mosaic SUNS and SUNslime. Campers will tie-dye SUNbeam shirts. On Friday of this week campers will wear SUNglasses as we conclude our month of fun in the SUN!
What SJS Summer Campers Bring Everyday:
- Lunch and snacks
- Refillable water bottle. Campus has a water bottle refill station available for students.
- Personal sunscreen/chapstick
- Small beach towel
- Optional: Bike, push scooter, skateboard with all safety equipment. May be left on campus each week for use during free play times at camp. Please no electric bikes, scooters or skateboards.
